I sat in the prayer circle, listening as my brother prayed: "Lord, let us not just rise up against the enemy, but help us to march. Help us to go out to meet him with our swords drawn, ready to fight."
Immediately my mind played the scene from the movie Gettysburg, where Colonel Joshua Chamberlain fought with his men at Little Round Top. 
Battle of Trenton. Their morale low, they devised a plan to cross the Delaware River on the night of December 25–26 and surround their enemy, the Hessians. Without adequate clothing to protect them from the freezing cold, they crossed the river, arriving on the other side, wet, frozen, starving, and exhausted. They marched right into the enemy camp, weapons drawn. As it was, all the suffering and training they had been through had strengthened them, making them able to overcome and gain the victory in the battle.

And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." God strengthens and empowers his people. Luke 10:19 Isaiah 40:29-31 Colossians 1:11 Isaiah 41:10 Glory to God! As my brother closed his prayer, the very familiar words to a song consumed my thoughts: "GOD LOOKS FOR A PEOPLE THE FAITHFUL AND THE STRONG TO SPEAK TO SITUATIONS TO CAUSE THINGS TO BE BORN CAPTIVES OF A VISION SINGERS OF A SONG WHO ONLY LIVE TO SEE HIS KINGDOM COME WHO ONLY LIVE TO SEE HIS KINGDOM COME SO WILL WE BE THAT PEOPLE OR WILL HE PASS US BY IS THERE NO ONE AMONG US WHO WILL EVEN DARE TO TRY OR WILL HIS ZEAL CONSUME US AND WILL OUR LIVES BE RUN SEEING KINGDOMS OVERCOME IN THE NAME OF GOD'S OWN SON"
